This volume features a series of connected “oral essays,” texts that express the dharma that was collectively co-created at the annual week-long Eros Mystery School, and based on the words and teachings of Dr. Marc Gafni. They have been edited specifically to be read and absorbed, so that the dharma is transmitted directly. They also include analyses of cultural texts (popular movies and songs) that represent crucial — and often hidden or unconscious — aspects of the emergent New Story of Value. The “Deep Dive” sections in this volume feature recapitulations of key themes, so feel free to pass over them on the first read, and return to them later when you’re called back to investigate further. In addition, the various prayers, meditations, and contemplation practices are designed to give you an embodied sense of the unimaginably beautiful transformations, both personal and collective, that are not only possible but necessary for responding to the meta-crisis and existential risk.
