Synopsis

Jacob Read loved everything about his name. Well, almost everything. He didn’t like it when people called him Jacob Red; (like the color) or assumed he actually liked to read.

So what happens when he has to write a report that REQUIRES reading?

With some guidance from his super sharp teacher and friends, Jacob learns the correct way to research and present a fun fact-filled report. His classmates also present some amazing facts about everything from the smallest dinosaur with the largest name to a cat that barks.

Daxton was next in the lineup. “Lunch boxes, by Daxton L.,” Daxton began. “I like lunch boxes. Lunch boxes were created to hold lunches.

“Every morning, my mom packs my lunch in my lunch box. You can have lots of different things for lunch, but I like sandwiches.

“One day, my mom forgot to put my lunch in my lunch box and all I had to eat was a napkin. It didn’t taste very good and I was still hungry after eating it.

“When I got home and told my mom, she felt so bad she baked me cookies. Cookies are wonderful for dinner.”

Jacob just stared at Daxton. Did he just say he ate his napkin?
