Violence, romance and mob interests merge on the Midwest highways when Bob's life is suddenly and irrevocably changed as he is pursued by thugs in fast cars. Helped by long haul truckers, Bob avoids one calamity only to find violence and danger when he arrives at Timberline Ranch. Yet, a new purpose and value for life gives Bob the strength to fight for those he comes to care for.

Bernie Ziegner grew up in Philadelphia. His career involved work as an electronic engineer for major defense contractors. He lived in Arizona for over two decades and now resides in Massachusetts. He can often be found in western Montana where he enjoys nature, horses, cattle and the local people.
