For over twenty-eight years in both the United States and Canada, Sandra was blessed to interact with the hearts and minds of students from kindergarten through junior college. She believed there was always "a way" with even the most difficult learners; thus, her students saw language arts as a route to personal growth and meaningful, interactive encouragement. Under her leadership, their growth earned them awards and commendations; therefore, in recognition of her innovative approach, the Commonwealth \\\Youth Service Medallion was presented to her along with Canada's Hilroy Fellowship. With deep gratitude in all cases, she thanked the Holy Spirit for insight and guidance.
