God tried to get Tom Bankowski's attention three times. With the first two, Tom had other plans, and they did not include what God had in mind. Finally, God had had enough of Tom's inattention. He simply would not stop nudging Tom in the direction He wanted him to go. After much prayer, Tom enrolled in study for ordination. After 350 classroom hours and six months of internship, Tom was ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Church. He is thankful for God's patience and persistence in his life.
