After earning her BSBA in Manila, Daisy Ruth im- migrated to America. She was an import negotiator at the Chartered Bank of London in San Francisco when she met her husband, William, after his first deployment to Vietnam. They live in East Texas. They have one daughter, Kathryn Evangeline. Besides the Bible, she loves to read biographies, poetry, and nature books. She enjoys the writings of Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters-Anne, Charlotte, and Emily.
