I am a Christian who agrees with the thoughts expressed by Thomas Jefferson in his book titled The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth which was first published in 1895. In this book, more commonly known as the Jefferson Bible, he focuses on Jesus as being a man of morals, an inspired teacher whose truths were expressed without the help of miracles or the supernatural powers of God. Said he:

"To the corruptions of Christianity I am indeed opposed: but not to genuine percepts of Jesus himself. I believe Jesus wished everyone to be, sincerely attached to His doctrine in Preference to all others; ascribing to Him all human excellence, and believing that He never claimed any other."

The Fall of Adam is a term use to describe the transition of the first man and woman from a state of innocent obedience to God to a state of guilty disobedience. The doctrine comes from the biblical interpretation of Genesis, chapters 1-3 where a serpent tempted Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil which God had forbidden.
