Synopsis

You've built a life that looks successful -- but inside, something’s stirring. You wonder: <em>Is this it? What now? When will all this finally feel like enough? Or maybe you’re just tired of the pressure, the pace, and the ache for something more.

Live Your Opus is for high achievers who’ve done everything ‘right’ yet still feel something is missing. It’s an invitation to step off the treadmill and compose a life that actually fits. One that energizes, not exhausts. One where ambition expands, not depletes.

Rooted in neuroscience, lived experience, and the Opus 8 Energy System, this twelve-week learning experience offers you a practical, soul-stirring path forward. You’ll learn how to:

  • Shift from reactive overwork to intentional impact
  • Align your identity and ambitions with the future -- not your past
  • Rediscover what matters most and let it guide what comes next
  • Build a rhythm that fuels your life, not just your work
  • Thrive without burning out, selling out, or numbing out

Within weeks, your energy returns. Clarity deepens. And something within you awakens -- you finally feel aligned. You don’t have to leave success to find yourself, but you do have to stop running and start listening. Whether you’re burned out, at a crossroads, or ready to enjoy the life you’ve built, this book meets you where you are and helps you create what’s next.

You are your greatest work.

Over her twenty-five-year career, Janine raised $30 million for education innovation across sectors. She shaped global strategy for the future of work and guided organizations through transformation.

Her turning point came in 2020, after corporate burnout and the sudden loss of her mother -- a season that led her to reimagine life, work, and success. Janine now works at the intersection of leadership, well-being, and transformation, helping ambitious professionals reclaim energy, align with what matters, and build sustainable success. Her debut book, Live Your Opus, helps high achievers who look successful on the outside but feel depleted or misaligned. It offers a practical, soulful framework for building a life that feels better inside than it looks outside.

A first-generation Cuban American, Janine has lived in three countries and led work on four continents. She brings a cross-cultural lens and rare integration of strategy, science, and spirit to her work. Janine lives in Provence with her husband and two Labradors, and travels often to London and Boston, where they raised their three grown children.
