Synopsis

Although their time in Vietnam left them scarred, life for the cousins, Kevin McClure and Lou Aguilar, seemed to improve daily - at least on the surface. Smooth sailing.

Kevin-with financial help from the Grandfathers-built the dream house he'd designed for Molly, and to the delight of his family, declared that engineering and architectural degrees might be in his future. And Lou, wild photographer and artist, cousin and best friend, whom Kevin thought might never settle down, was getting married.

But life is seldom smooth. There were bad times ahead, with secrets, mysteries, and unseen wounds to heal.
