Synopsis

Natasha was shocked, surprised and scared, when she found three million US dollars in cash in the bed of her father, who had died of a sudden heart attack few days back. Her father was a retired High Court judge, having an impeachable reputation throughout his carrier. Natasha, being a CFO of a company, was well aware of the law. Possession of foreign currency was/is a serious offence. She could not spent it. She could not declare it. She could not deposit it. She could not even share this with anyone. She used services of a hawala operator but was in for another shock when the officers of enforcement directorate (ED) intercepted the passenger carrying her money, while travelling to Dubai.

The officers of ED however found only ten thousand US dollars from the passenger, who was supposed to carry three million US dollars. A big drama was created by the passenger in the court when he made the statement that ED staff had found three million US dollars from the suitcases whereas the documents prepared were for recovery of ten thousand US dollars only.

Where had the money gone? Whether the passenger was telling lie? Whether the ED finally were able to recover the amount? What happened to Natasha? Ameya Mohite, Joint Director in ED suddenly started showing interest. Why? The mystery remained till the end….
