A LOOK INSIDE THE MINDS AND EXPERIENCES OF FANS OF THE LONGEST RUNNING SCI-FI TV SHOW
The Doctor Who TV series has been popular for over 60 years. The fans of the series have created exciting and welcoming communities whose love of the series connects them together due to their shared interest in the show. Look behind the TARDIS doors at the thoughts and experiences of these would-be companions of the Doctor.
This book interviews over 100 Doctor Who fans with interesting and diverse backgrounds. They include curators of Doctor Who museums, Guinness World Records holders, convention organizers, role-playing game storytellers, documentary filmmakers, families brought together by the show, and even fans that watched the first episode on broadcast in 1963, and others that just recently discovered the series.
We ask the fans common questions they often privately ask one another but that we have not seen documented in a book before. Discover the answers of how they first found the show, how they grew to be fans, and their favorite moments within Doctor Who fandom. They invite you into their world.

À propos de l'auteur
Nick Seidler is a multiple international award-winning book author and veteran who has worked in the field of higher education for over a quarter of a century. He co-authored the books Red, White, and Who: The Story of Doctor Who in America, How to Celebrate Your Fandom, and Not Everyone Walks the Stage and has written and edited various other fiction, non-fiction, and gaming books. The academic study of Doctor Who is one of his lifelong passions.
