Synopsis
Imagine having the capability to build a ship that could approach the speed of light.
Imagine taking that ship on a three-month journey into space – only to return and find Earth, and everyone you know, fifty years older.
Time dilation.
A ship like that is still science fiction.
But there is something that can approach the speed of light: particles.
At CERN, an accidental breach in the 17-mile tunnel triggers the discovery of a strange, unclassified anomaly with unrecognizable characteristics; an unknown entity. The mystery is not where it is from, it is when it is from.
Before the truth can be understood, the data and someone who understands it disappear. The very building blocks of future technologies and materials are exposed. But who will possess them and what will they do with them? No one anticipates what comes next.

Hello, I hope you enjoy this book. I came up with this idea over a decade ago, but work, family and fun called! Now that I'm retired, I decided to dust it off and finish it. The idea occurred to me when I read the Twin's Paradox. It struck me that that scenario is basically time traveling. We can't build near-speed-of-light ships, but we have built collider tubes which are capable of propelling particles at near-light speed. What if particles were involved in time travel? "Aha!" I said to myself, "I have my spaceship, a speed-of-light particle."
I am retired from a career in medical R&D, and am enjoying life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with family and friends. I appreciate any feedback at chris.sanders.1234@gmail.com.
