John is a former Boston union carpenter, having built the pinnacle of the central artery project, the Lenny Zakim bridge, and an advanced-trained leader of the Celebrate Recovery ministry on Christian radio station WEZE 590 AM for three years. Before his accident, John and Claire were raising a family of three children the best they knew how. He was active in his church and ministry and was living the American dream!
