Learning from the Lord is not a scholarly commentary, but the sermons contained herein are informed by biblical scholars from the earliest days of the church through today. This present collection, volume 2, contains sermons drawn from Acts (a book of history), the epistles of Paul and the other evangelists (books of doctrine), and Revelation, the risen Christ's love letter to his church. In this book, you will find some sermons that closely track the scriptures, some that follow a classic three-point format, and even a few first-person testimonies. Jesus taught through parables, and at times, so does Dr. Sauser. The sermons in this volume are intended to aid faithful Christians in their sincere efforts to understand and be guided by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
