When she returned, her aunt Martha asked her to tell her about the experience. It was then that Ana had the idea to narrate her travels from an original perspective: that of Scotty, her service dog. With the support and insistence of her aunt Martha, Ana began to shape the idea of drafting a book inspired by her travels. From that intention were born Scotty's Tales and Scotty's Stories, a collection of stories that combine family memory, adventure and the endearing bond between a person and their service dog. Scotty becomes the narrative voice of the stories. Through his gaze, the valuable service provided by service dogs is highlighted, as well as the care, affection and deep bond that can exist between a service dog and its owner. In Scotty's travels, he narrates to his friend Mitsi about his travels through archaeological sites in the Yucatan Peninsula and national parks. At the same time, the story shows how Scotty faces and overcomes the loss of his first patient. In Stories of Scotty, he shares to his friends about his latest adventures and narrates what he sees and how he has found inner peace. In these stories, his friends also ask questions and express their own perspectives, beliefs, and reflections.Ana is currently considering writing a third book, which is still in development.
