He graduated from Sterling High School in Sheffield, Alabama, before pursuing higher education at La Salle University and the Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Driven by a profound commitment to social justice, Alif's inspiration for his work, Children of the Sun, stems from the urgent need to address the often-overlooked realities of slavery. He believes that the horrific conditions faced by enslaved individuals and the tragic legacy of their experiences deserve greater recognition and discussion.
