Mark Weakland is a consultant, teacher, musician, and author of education resource books, award-winning writing and music projects, and more than 80 books for children. His latest teacher materials are How to Prevent Reading Difficulties (Corwin) and Applying the Science of Reading (ASCD). From Hawaii to Maine, Mark presents and consults on topics that include dyslexia and the foundations of reading.
