Synopsis

Dive into Greek mythology and learn how Medusa became the snake-haired monster she is in this exciting picture book in the Little Myths series.

Most people know Medusa for the halo of snakes that sit on her head and her ability to turn anyone who looks at her into stone. But once upon a time, Medusa was just a little girl. Sure, she was a powerful gorgon, but in lots of other ways she was just like you. She fought with her sisters, but all she really wanted was friendship, love, and to feel like she fit in. But she grew up, people were mean to her, and she grew angry, vengeful, and ultimately dangerous. This is her story. A humorous and informative "biography" of the famous snake-haired monster from Greek mythology, Medusa's origin story comes to life for little myth lovers in vibrant illustrations and comic-like panels, perfect for young and emerging readers.
