Though they endured the heartbreaking loss of a child, their family grew, and he is now a proud grandfather of five and great-grandfather of three. A deep sense of justice has always driven Gordon. Conversations with a longtime lawyer friend led him to reflect on the flaws of the legal system-where wealth and status often allow the guilty to escape punishment. This frustration inspired his writing, leading to his first book, A Pound of Butter. It follows a retired couple who fall victim to a financial scam that robs them of their savings and ultimately leads to the wife's tragic death. Devastated and seeking justice, the husband takes matters into his own hands, ensuring the swindlers face the consequences of their actions. In writing this story, Gordon hopes that those who prey on the vulnerable will think twice, knowing that their crimes may not go unpunished. His latest novel, An Eye for A Tooth, is a collection of five gripping stories where justice is served, no matter the cost. Now retired, Gordon still firmly believes that bad people should not go unpunished.
