Together with his wife and partner, Delane, Michael cofounded their company, ParaWest, in 2003, and they began serving with faith-based ministries shortly thereafter. Over the past twenty years, they have worked with ministries in the United States and Africa, serving homeless families, orphans, refugees, disadvantaged children, and others.
