Synopsis
This book has a simple goal: to help people to pray so that Jesus is the most dynamic source of love in their lives. They, in turn, will share that love with their neighbor. Prayer will reveal Jesus as the answer to the deepest hunger in their heart.
The real problem of loving Jesus is that there are dark forces within us, in our society and culture, and even in the practice of our faith that guide us to a false love of Jesus. Our basic brokenness creates a Jesus according to our own size and comfort. Only in the integrity of the gospel, with its death to self, will we overcome the problem of loving Jesus.
