Do any of these sound familiar?
• You’ve wondered if ADHD might explain parts of your story.
• You have a diagnosis but still aren’t sure how ADHD shows up in your life.
• You suspect you might have ADHD but don’t know where to begin.
128 Questions About ADHD: A Guided Self-Discovery Journey to Look Back and Move Forward is an introductory workbook designed specifically for adults who are exploring ADHD for the first time.
Whether you’re ADHD-curious, newly diagnosed, or finally ready to understand how ADHD may have shaped your life, this book provides a welcoming place to start.
Through guided questions and personal reflection, you’ll discover patterns in your experiences, gain insight into how your brain works, and build a stronger foundation for understanding ADHD.
The workbook is inspired by the original 128 questions published in the 2005 book Delivered from Distraction: Getting the Most Out of Life with Attention Deficit Disorder by Dr. Edward (Ned) Hallowell and Dr. John Ratey.
Twenty years later, Katherine Snedaker, LCSW, partnered with Dr. Hallowell to update these questions for a new generation. This edition also includes reflections from eight contributors with ADHD, offering insight, humor, and the reassurance that you’re not alone.
If you’re looking for an accessible, supportive first step into understanding ADHD—before diving into more advanced books, research, or treatment—128 Questions About ADHD is the place to begin.
