Synopsis
Six years have passed since their first adventure, and Jessie is trying to prepare herself for Sue B and Barnaby to head off to college. But she's not ready to say goodbye to her sister, who intends on moving all the way across the country for school. When their planned bonding night is disrupted by a Barnaby blunder, Jessie panics that Sue B is going to spend the rest of her time at home moping around and crying-leaving no room for sisterly QT. That is, until a familiar seed and touch of magic gives Jessie the idea for an impromptu visit to the Ridderlands, where they can all sort out their problems and return reconnected. After all, Ritter is gone, so the place has to be safe-right?

Melissa Ruth Rotert is a poet turned writer of speculative fiction for all ages. She lives in Western NY and is an avid Buffalo Bills fan who enjoys exploring every day with her family and editing short fiction with Epistemic Literary Magazine and Nimblewitlit.
