Anthony P. Mauro Sr. writes from the edge of experience and the core of life. A lifelong New Jerseyan, he grew up along the coastal towns that inspired Manhassett Beach, the setting for Silent Sounds and Echoes of Time. His work explores the wonder of childhood, the trials that shape us, and the quiet strength found in love, friendship, and memory.He is also the author of Caring for Carol by Caring for Me, Fighting Mark Twain, and Color the Green Movement Blue. Known for stories that invite reflection as much as they entertain, Mauro's writing suggests that even in hardship we can find meaning-and that a willingness to meet life as it comes opens the way to renewal.
