Synopsis

How does a successful, intelligent, and seemingly accomplished person lose control of their life to alcohol?

More importantly, how do they find their way back?

In Killing Mr. Hyde, Michael Lassman shares the deeply personal story of his battle with alcoholism, addiction, recovery, and redemption. What begins as an occasional escape gradually evolves into a destructive force that threatens his career, relationships, health, and sense of self.

But this is more than a story about alcohol.

It is a story about the struggle that exists within all of us—the battle between who we are and who we are capable of becoming.

À propos de l'auteur

Michael Lassman lives in Tulsa, OK, has two children, and has been in recovery since 2012. He is currently the President and co-owner of an Energy Consulting Firm. Killing Mr. Hyde is his first book in a series he hopes to write about addiction. In addition to leading recovery groups through LifeChurch, Michael also helps other alcoholics and addicts on an individual basis. When he's not playing golf, you can find Michael buried in a biography, temporarily withdrawing from life, like all good Myers-Briggs INFJ's, or satisfying his OCD tendencies around the house. He is 50 years old.
