Greetings! I'm Mariyam Shirolkar, and honestly, I don't write only because I love writing (though, yes, it's the one true thing I am utterly in love with). I write because if I don't, my soul explodes and then forgets to make sense of this hauntingly brutal world. Poetry, to me, is one of the most cruel yet fulfilling and harmonizing forms of human expression, it rips you apart quite deeply but also heals the dark and wounded parts of you like never before. I suppose I'm just one soul like many others, troubled and adorned by Time far too many times, trying not only to survive it, but sometimes even thrive in it by translating its soul's tales, feelings, experiences and lore!
