Synopsis

By the age of five, he could mix a perfect drink on command. By sixteen, he was living on his own. By his twenties, meth was the love of his life.

In Naked and Unafraid, Stacey Dustin tells the unfiltered story of a man who walked through hell and came out holding light in his soul and love in his heart.

Raised in a home where drugs, violence, and "don't tell anyone" were the rules, he spent decades repeating the patterns he inherited. Those patterns brought addiction, a prison cell, broken marriages, and a double life he worked hard to hide, until there was nothing left to hide behind.

Then, stranded on the side of the road with nothing but the clothes on his back, he cried out to God. The answer he received changed everything.

The book begins in Eden, where humanity first felt exposed and ran to hide. From there, Dustin shows why confession, not concealment, is the doorway to freedom, and how God breaks generational chains that no amount of willpower can.

This is a story for anyone who keeps finding themselves back in the same chains, and for everyone who loves someone who does. It is living proof that God still calls the least of these and uses the foolish to silence the wise.

If you've ever believed you were too far gone, open these pages and discover what God can build from ashes.

À propos de l'auteur

Stacey Dustin was born and raised in rural southeast Idaho, in a family that carried a long line of generational curses rooted in sin and childhood trauma. For years, fear, guilt, and shame were his shepherds. He survived addiction, prison, homelessness, and a carefully hidden double life until God's loving light blindsided him and grace stepped in.Along the way, he worked as a journeyman plumber, trained as a wildland firefighter, and drove over-the-road trucks. A season at River of Life Rescue Mission in Boise, Idaho, reshaped his understanding of his past. He now sees it as a way to relate to broken and hurting people.Today Stacey is sober and grounded in faith. He is a husband and father who believes honest confession strips the enemy of his weapons. His life is proof that God can turn a double life into a double portion.
