Her help secures Jason’s triumph—but requires her to abandon her family, homeland and former life.

Drawing carefully upon the surviving ancient sources, Jason and the Argonauts follows the complete story from the origins of the Golden Fleece to the building of the Argo, the gathering of Greece’s heroes, the trials in Colchis and the dangerous voyage home.
