Dr. King's incarceration caused him to examine himself. After reading Romans 12:12, he understood he was nothing more than a religious person who had abandoned his faith. But he now gives a testimony explaining that he has accepted Jesus, not as just a Savior, but as the Lord of his life, to be used for God's glory. Over the next twenty-seven years of his incarceration, God molded him into the man He intended him to be. The author walked into prison as a broken-down high-school dropout, but he walked out an author of ten books waiting to be published, as well as holding the degrees of Doctor of Christian Education and a Ph.D. in biblical theology.
