She goes beyond the church walls to serve people in hospitals and nursing homes and those who are homebound or in hospice care. Velma is a wife, mother, and grandmother residing in Georgia. She received a certificate in Christian training from Augusta Theological Seminary and Georgia Bible Institute in 2016. Additionally, she received a diploma in theology from Augusta Theology Seminary and Georgia Bible Institute in 2019.
