Synopsis

James, Katie, and Sarah love to visit their Aunt Em and Uncle Mike's house and play in the old apple tree. Up in the tree a little bird watches from his nest and hopes to join in fun and games one day, but has a broken wing. Written from the childhood memories of two sisters growing up alongside an older brother with cerebral palsy, it is a whimsical and fun tale.

À propos des auteurs

Sarah is a lifelong teacher and learner, living and learning with her family in Connecticut. Writing about her childhood growing up alongside a brother who was born with cerebral palsy helped to form a connection to him after his death as a young adult and introduce her children to their uncle posthumously.

Catherine is an artist of all forms, oil pastel and watercolor being some of her favorite mediums. She lives with her family in Connecticut and loves to produce art of all types.
