Synopsis

In this timeless, adventure-filled fable for young readers, kindness, forgiveness, and family bring the baby animals of the forest back together! The core of this reluctant heroine's tale nurtures peer empathy, kindness, and social-emotional learning. Both whimsical and meaningful, SHYLA THE TRAILBLAZING SUPER SNAIL fosters unity.

When a group of baby forest animals find themselves lost in a maze, Shyla, a soft-spoken and misunderstood young lady snail, saves them from danger. Her special ability to make shiny trails of slime helps the other animal children find their way back home again to their loving parents. Once ashamed of her unusual quality, Shyla realizes the very thing that makes her unusual is actually something to celebrate.

Unperturbed by the rejection of a bully, sweet natured SHYLA's compassionate heart lights the way to reconciliation. As a result, a diverse community learns to acknowledge, appreciate, and celebrate everyone without exclusion. Shyla's selfless love makes her a cherished community heroine!
