Synopsis

Lydia Franklin is a grieving mother on the edge of an emotional breakdown when she takes the risk of a lifetime. She decides to leave it all behind and look for a transporting and liberating kind of love. One that will make her forget her losses. Isaac Ziglar, itinerant salesman, agrees to spirit the desperate farmwife far from her husband, Oliver, and away from her pain and loneliness.

Lydia leaves her home and her children for the freedom of the road and an escape from her responsibilities. What Lydia discovers is that the grass is not necessarily greener on the other side. Love cannot be forced on anyone. When Lydia is left with no choice but to come face to face with her extended family, she expects to be met with judgment, derision and rejection, but instead she receives grace, forgiveness and love.

Lydia must then decide whether to keep running west, or to return home to her husband and children. Can she go back to the life she left and start all over again? After all, no matter how devoted Oliver is to his wife, the horrifying truth of her whereabouts the previous two years might just make it impossible for him to continue loving her.
