Synopsis

One island. One past she can’t outrun. One love she can’t forget.

After months of soul-searching and therapy, Lyle Cooper is beginning to heal. With the unwavering support of Grey Locklear—a calm, steady friend who helped her find her way back to herself—she’s learning to trust life again. Their bond is strong, built on understanding and care. She loves him deeply… but not in the way she loves Michael Miller.

Now, returning to the island of Bonaire, Lyle finds herself face to face with the man she left behind. Michael is still charming, still complicated—and now at the center of a criminal investigation that could destroy everything.

Surrounded by Bonaire’s brilliant coral reefs and sun-warmed beaches—old friends that feel like a deep breath for the soul—Lyle must confront the past she tried to leave behind and decide whether standing by Michael is an act of strength… or the biggest risk of all.

Set between the quiet coast of North Carolina and the vibrant beauty of Bonaire, Back to Bonaire is a clean, emotionally rich women’s fiction novel about healing, resilience, and the quiet magic of second chances. Perfect for fans of heartfelt journeys, beachside settings, and stories about the kind of love that never really lets go.
