Laurie Gilbert spent her last 15 years as an MRI Technologist at a level one trauma center, but she has worked in small, rural hospitals as well as large, private upscale medical centers. She served four years on the A.R.R.T. MRI Examination Committee and two years as an MRI Exam Item Writer for A.R.R.T. She earned her B.S. in Radio-logic Science at Oregon Institute of Technology. She also holds certifications as a registered Cardiovascular-Interventional Technologist, CT Technologist, Mammography Technologist and Radiologic Technologist, which took her into just about every nook and cranny of the hospital.
