Although her first children's book, Jan Hadwen Hubbell has many writing awards to her credit.Two-time winner of the Academy of American Poet's Award her poems were also published in award-winning, Democracy of Poets. Her screenplay, The Perfect Gentleman, won 5 prestigious screenwriting awards, Jan resides near Aspen where she taught writing for many years at Colorado Mountain College.
