Terry Bartley is the founder and creative director of Starlight King Press and a journalism, literature, and English teacher at Scott High School. He is the host of Most Writers are Fans, a podcast about the intersection of writing and fandom, and Ink Over AI, which explores how writers can engage ethically and responsibly with AI without outsourcing their creativity. His work has appeared in the Coal Valley News and Screenrant.He has won awards for writing and broadcasting from the West Virginia Associated Press, the National Broadcasting Society, and MarCom. He has a B.A. in English from the University of Phoenix and an M.A. in English Education from Western Governor's University.He loves tabletop roleplaying games, reading comics, and watching TV shows starring complicated women. He lives in rural West Virginia with his dog, Etsy.His debut novel, Destined for Greater Things will debut in Summer 2026.
