Synopsis

After 10-year-old Leelee Honeyshine and her 12-year-old sister Natasha arrive in Knotted Oaks, Florida to spend the summer with their grandparents, Leelee discovers that in such a small town, she can’t hide herself or her drawings from anyone.

Unlike her popular Natasha, Leelee is a shy and lonely girl who loves to draw. But she won’t show her drawings to anyone. Not even her grandparents, until she meets mischievous 11-year-old Jeremy “Jellybean” Beam. Jellybean lives with Leelee’s grandparents and the two become fast friends.

At her grandparents urging, Leelee enrolls in an art class right in time to enter the local mural contest that’s five weeks away. And she's determined to win it.
