Synopsis

Annie the Adventurer is the true story of an adventurous young girl that grew into an adventurous old woman. Join Annie on her travels and share her experiences, from early childhood to old age and everything in between. Follow her to Paris and the pyramids, or ride along with her on a dogsled. Annie the Adventurer is sure to inspire readers of all ages to go out and explore all the wonderful things this world has to offer and to hold out your hands so that this life can fill them with sprinkles of joy wherever you go.

Annie the Adventurer beautifully captures the entire circle of life, and while it does discuss loss and grief, it is not meant to be sad. It is also not meant to be solely a children's book. It is a story that is woven together by three generations of women: Anne Jensen- Annie- the grandmother of the author, and the great grandmother of the illustrator, and is written for anyone that needs to feel hope, comfort, promise, excitement, or just a little bit of wanderlust.

A propos du livre

À propos des auteurs

Morgan Longford is a California girl currently living in Texas. This is her first children's book, but she is the author of many short stories and essays and has several memoirs and novels in the works. She has a degree in Psychology, has spent the last decade doing hair as a licensed cosmetologist, and is now busy pursuing her lifelong dream of being a writer. She is married to an insanely supportive man, loves her dog with her whole body, and is the proud stepmom of a high schooler. Her hobbies include roller skating, dancing, and daydreaming.

Aspen Paige Waldschmidt is five years old and is the talented artist and illustrator of the first edition of Annie the Adventurer. She is the niece of Morgan Longford, and the great granddaughter of the original Annie. She has a big heart and an even bigger imagination. She spends her days doing arts and crafts of all types, making sure everything is bright and sparkly. She loves to sing, dance, and perform, and is an artist just like her "Auntie Momo."
