Synopsis

A tiny leaf with a grand tale to tell, Bud is a heartwarming story of discovery and change. High in the swaying branches of an ancient maple tree, Bud awakens to life, marveling at the vibrant world around him. Each morning, he basks in the golden sunlight, dances in the cool breezes, and listens to the symphony of rustling leaves. Below, a lively boy named Max plays beneath the tree, filling the air with laughter and joy. Of all the sights Bud observes, Max is his favorite-a source of endless fascination and delight.

As time passes, Bud begins to notice changes within himself. His once-brilliant green starts to fade, and he feels the stirrings of curiosity about what lies beyond his perch. What exists past the safety of his tree branch? Is there more to life than the view from above?

À propos de l?auteur

Ann Fleming spent her childhood in upstate New York and eventually moved to San Diego, where she spent most of her adult life as a small business owner until deciding to take a little time off after the birth of her son. She currently lives with her ever-patient husband and their beautiful boy, Henry. Inspired by the books she enjoyed reading with him when he was just a little younger, she is starting this new journey as a writer, hoping to capture some of the same fun and reflection she and Henry experienced through so many of those delightful stories.
