I'm a licensed middle school instructor (6-8th grade English Language Arts and Spanish) and published children's book author with a heart and soul for Jesus. I love to teach using practical, real-world skills that kids could ACTUALLY use someday. In May 2023, I chose 8 talented students from my 8th grade English Language Arts classroom that demonstrated exceptional skills in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. With the support of their families, we began to work on writing and publishing an original novel addressing hard-hitting topics like abuse, neglect, trauma, and drug consumption. This became the Young Author Project.
