Synopsis
Sarah Flores, an investigative associate of private detective Jake Powers, has fallen head over heels in love with a beautiful young woman, Tuesday le Mare. The trouble is, Tuesday can't figure out what she likes more, men or women. After a loud and public fight with Sarah, Tuesday leaves a popular midtown Sacramento night spot with two men she's been flirting with.
Tuesday is found dead the next morning, with her body stuffed in a nearby dumper. Sarah's buck knife is found, stuck in the back of Tuesday, with Sarah's fingerprints all over it. But Sarah insists she didn't, indeed couldn't have killed Tuesday. She turns to Jake for help.
Can Jake find the real killer or killers, when the Sacramento Police Department and the local district attorney are convinced they have an open and shut case against Sarah? Will he like the answer or answers he finds?
