Synopsis

Susan Kite has been writing for over thirty years, beginning with fan-fiction. A visit to the Mission San Luis Rey in 2001 became the catalyst to write her first novel. She now has over fifteen books published in various genres: science fiction, fantasy, tall tales, adventure, and historical fiction for children, middle-grade readers, young adults, and adults. The author worked in school libraries for 35 years, mostly elementary schools and mostly in Tennessee. Now retired, Ms. Kite lives in Yukon, Oklahoma.
