Synopsis

Green bud and greenbacks, from San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district to the lush but rugged Northern California backcountry, Tales of the Emerald Triangle: Memoirs of a Marijuana Grower flies off the page spinning a fictionalized account of America's premier cannabis growing region. These stories provide an intimate look at the lifestyles of the men and women who labored in the fields in the heady days before your puff was legal.

It's 1980 and fresh-faced Duncan Easley attempts to carve out an existence where pot plants grow like Kansas corn. But the world of fast money and easy women comes with a price: animosities and anxieties multiply, success breeds resentment, rip-off artists lurk in the shadows, and corrupt law enforcement rush in to grab what they can. With danger around every corner, Duncan soon discovers that his business, freedom, or life can disappear as quickly as a puff of smoke.
