Susan York Meyers is the author of two chapter books, Callie and the Stepmother and The Princess and the Pee, as well as three picture books--The Mystery of the Red Mitten, Grrr...Night!, which won the Creative Women of Oklahoma Award, and Grrr...Morning, a sequel. Stone Girl and I Spy Something Wicked, are young adult novels she has had published. Susan worked in elementary school libraries for over twelve years and is familiar with both books and the children who check them out. In addition to her writing for children, Susan has a published book of poetry for shoe lovers, entitled Shoe Haiku. She also wrote Two Little Old Ladies: It's All in the Attitude, a humorous inspirational book. Meyers is an inspirational speaker and also speaks to writing groups.Susan lives with her hubby and Kira, the dog that thinks she's people. Marla F. Jones has read thousands of children's books. Literally. As a first-grade teacher, story time was her favorite part of the day. As a writer, she has authored four picture books. As an artist, Jones has illustrated six. She uses a colorful mix of media, papers, fabrics and found objects, and layers them to create texture and dimension to her folk-art style. She is a senior editor at Doodle and Peck Publishing and a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation.Jones has authored four picture books-Ponder Learns to be Thankful, Let's Follow Them, We're Counting on Noah's Ark, and The Night the Mice Sang. Jones is a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation.
