Danielle Budash Newkam is a licensed psychologist and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor(RPT-S) in Hershey, PA. Dr. Newkam primarily conducts individual therapy with youngchildren coping with internalizing and externalizing disorders, and trauma histories. Dr.Newkam also loves children's books and has combined her passion for bibliotherapy and playtherapy into her therapeutic work with children.Remington, otherwise known as Remi, is the star character in the story and in Dr. Newkam's life.Remi is the Newkam family Labradoodle, and he accompanies Dr. Newkam to work severaldays a week. According to a staff member, "Remi has brought joy to our students and staff! Hecomforts students who are feeling sad or upset. He teaches students to be gentle, kind, andcompassionate to others."

Chelsey Lynne Lillge is an Iron Mountain artist, entrepreneur and mom of two.KHS Graduate of 08' After attending Northern Michigan University, she spent nearly decade in the corporate advertising world helping bring big ideas to life. In 2018 she moved back to Michigan with her husband Mark to raise a family and was inspired to follow her dreams. An artist at heart, she now brings her own big ideas to life through her work. She has written and illustrated numerous children's books, has worked with authors across the country to make their stories a reality and is a recent winner of the Best New Author award.
