Synopsis

Every skating dream begins with a first glide—and the courage to try again.

When Zoey steps onto the ice, she discovers a joy she wants to follow. She dreams of becoming a figure skater, but learning to glide, spin, and leap takes practice, patience, and a little bravery.

There are wobbles, falls, and days when a new move feels impossible. With encouragement from her family and coach, Zoey gets back up and keeps trying. As her confidence grows, she works toward the excitement—and nerves—of a skating competition.

Chasing Ice Dreams is a children’s picture book about figure skating, perseverance, and believing in yourself. Through Zoey’s journey, young readers discover that progress takes time and that every small step matters.

A story to share with young skating fans and children learning something new, it invites families to talk about handling setbacks, celebrating progress, and finding joy in the things they love.
