Synopsis
Sterling Dodge Junior is a bright college student with mediocre grades who plans to spend the last summer before he graduates living it up with his girlfriend Gloria away from home where they will have lots of freedom and fun, but Gloria decides to take classes and Sterling Sr. insists his son returns home to work in a plastic manufacturing plant, the same company that has employed him for more than twenty years. With his plans dashed, Sterling begins the job he hates among a zany cast of plant employees and finds himself at odds with company management. When there is a murder on plant property, Sterling imagines he is the prime suspect. The more he tries to distance himself from the case, the more he is drawn in. To clear his name, Sterling teams up with a co-worker and would be private eye to solve the murder. For Sterling, The Summer of Our Discontent will be one thing--memorable!
