Joe Bannon grew up on the ethnically segregated streets of New York between 1956 and 1982. He became a teenage alcoholic, gang member, and a "bag man and runner" for the New York Italian Underground Gambling Rackets. When released from military reform school at age fifteen, he was told that he would be dead or in prison before his twentieth birthday. But God had other plans for his life. He miraculously became an extremely successful scholar, law enforcement officer, protection agent to the President of the United States, and an international role model who has been inducted into several halls of fame. He has survived numerous murder contracts placed on his life and has lived through "the impossible."
