Dr. Antonio Miranda is a proud Mexican-American, first-generation college student turned PhD. He has his PhD in nutrition and health behavior, is a registered dietitian, and certified diabetes care and education specialist. Dr. Miranda is also an entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. His books and talks focus on 1) helping the next generation of first-gen college students, 2) health behavior, and 3) improving the health of Hispanic communities. His best advice for college students would be "Work hard, work smart, and with a big heart. But take it easy. Life goes by so fast, so make sure you're having fun and taking care of yourself."
